  • Understanding the CBC The Competency-Based Curriculum (CBC) replaces rote memorisation with active, engaging learning. At Kinder Joy Academy, we fully implement the 2-6-3-3-3 structure

    • Early Years (PP1–PP2):2 years of pre-primary
    • Lower Primary (Grade 1–3):3 years
    • Junior Secondary (Grade 7–9):3 years

    Throughout these stages, we focus on seven core competencies: Communication and Collaboration, Critical Thinking and Problem Solving, Creativity and Imagination, Citizenship, Digital Literacy, Learning to Learn, and Self-Efficacy.
